Top 6%! "Dr. Claus" is a Finalist in the SoCal Screenplay Competition!

Top 6% Overall! A first-time finalist! Woohoo!
I have to be honest — there’s few better feelings in the world (pizza, to name one of them) than forgetting you entered a screenplay competition, only to find out almost 3 days post-announcement that you qualified as a finalist for the very first time 💙. Oh, and did I mention that I placed right alongside Hollywood royalty in – drum roll please… – Shia LaBeouf? I mean, he’s cool. I’m cool [kinda – cooler now, at least]. Does it get any cooler than that?
To explain, here’s my big win for February, 2023: #DrClaus

just made the top 6% of almost 100,000 screenplays listed on Coverfly How’d that happen, you might ask? Well, mostly because “Dr. Claus” advanced as a Finalist in the SoCal Screenplay Competition!
So. Awesome. These are the things that keep me writing, and keep the dream in sight. Now, back to “Final Draft” I go!
