Today I’m talking music. There’s no better feeling than hitting that purple-patch. That free-flowing momentum that burns with the force of unleaded creative fuel. I’d say that I hit a purple-patch once every three months. Seldom, right? Truth is, with everything going on in life, that sonic energy isn’t always present.

That’s when my good pal YouTube steps in.

Sometimes, no matter how hard I try, I struggle to lay down that first chord. To sequence that first drum pattern.
